God of Gamblers I

We have this DVD collection of Chow Yun-fat.My husband told me that I should watch the GOD OF GAMBLERS at first I was not into it by  by later part of the movie I noticed my self laughing and amazed how the story was about. Hahaha...As soon I finished the part I. I continued the second part ..It was really good too.

plays Ko Chun, an extremely talented and well known gambler. On the eve of a big confrontation with a famous Singaporean gambler, Ko walks into a trap set by Knife, an avid but a so-so gambler (Andy Lau), meant for an Indian servant. Struck on the head, Ko suffers from amnesia and regresses to a child-like state. Knife, not knowing who Ko is, takes him in and gives him a name, Chocolate, since Ko now has an over-obsessive love for a specific chocolate (French/Belgium Feodora brand),. As soon as he recognizes Ko's talents begins to exploit his abilities. This invites further trouble and trauma for Ko leading up to a big finale. Ko's bodyguard Dragon arrives after tracking him down to protect him from thugs who tried to kill him. After a fierce gun-battle in which Ko killed all his enemies, he became horrified and ran out into the street where he was struck by a vehicle. Moments later at the hospital, Knife came to visit him only to learn Ko has no memory of him and was thrown out by security to his dismay. Meanwhile, Ko Chun's cousin, Ko Yee helps the Singaporean gambler by giving him glasses that can see dots on cards (which tells him if it is a King, Queen, Jack, or Ace). During the big showdown, Ko Chun loses 2 rounds and during the last round, fools the Singaporean gambler thus winning all of the money. Then, the Singaporean gambler is sent to jail because he accidentally shot Ko Yee. In the end, Ko Chun remembers Knife and takes him to Las Vegas to gamble.

I really recommend that you watch this movie.I promise that You will not be bored watching it although it's kinda old but surely you will like this.

The Movie that makes me cry...

A Moment to Remember  is a 2004 South Korean film based on a 2001 Japanese television drama Pure Soul broadcast by Yomiuri Telecasting Corporation. It stars Son Ye-jin andJung Woo-sungA Moment to Remember follows the theme of discovery in a relationship and the burdens of loss caused by Alzheimer's disease. The movie was officially released on November 5, 2004 in South Korea.

The first segment of the film, staged in romantic comedy style, introduces the protagonists, a woman named Su Jin and a man named Chul Soo. The movie highlights their accidental meeting in a convenience store and confusion over a can of soda, followed by their subsequent courting despite the social standings that should have kept them apart.
The second segment follows the couple now settling into married life. Su-Jin learns to be a housewife as her husband cares for her. But as the segment progresses, Su-jin begins to display forgetfulness, including an incident in which a fire breaks out because of a forgotten stove. While Chul Soo caught the fire in time, the seriousness of the incident and others draw them to seek medical help.
The third segment involves the revelation of Alzheimer's disease and the couple's consequent response to it. Su Jin is heavily burdened by the knowledge that she will forget her husband and hides it from him at first until he seeks advice from the doctor himself. Despite the disease, they make the commitment to stay together and as the disease progresses, the trials the couple go through increase because of Su Jin's forgetfulness.
The fourth segment reveals Su-jin in the final stages of the disease and the grief Chul Soo experiences because of it. Yet he remains beside her, despite her lost memory, hiding his eyes behind sunglasses when he visits her so she can't see his tears.
The end of the movie finishes off with Chul Soo replaying the first time they met in the convenience store with all her friends and family in the store. In the final scene, Su-jin is riding beside her husband in the car in the sunset, and he can finally tell her, "I love you."

I will never forget this movie, while having a super high fever as in super high 40.I cry so much because of this film you can see the emotion and how the man really loves her wife so much..Super touching...after i finished watching the film about 3:00 in the morning a few hours. We went to the hospital to confined me... hahahahaha...

daniel josh @ 5 months

DANIEL
Daniel is pictured as a good-looking, strong,  Boy who is athletic, brave, kind, friendly, trustworthy, well-bred, intelligent, and easygoing.

Daniel:
  • Although the name Daniel creates the urge to be reliable and responsible, we emphasize that it causes an emotional intensity that is hard to control.
  • This name, when combined with the last name, can frustrate happiness, contentment, and success, as well as cause health weaknesses in the nervous system, worry, and mental tension.
  • Your name of Daniel has created a most expressive nature, idealistic and inspirational, driven with a strong inner urge to be of service in some way that would uplift humanity as a whole.
  • However, there is a tendency to assume too heavy a burden of responsibility for others, which leads to worry and undue concern.
  • People with problems are drawn to you as they recognize you as one who has understanding and gives not only sympathy and comfort but provides also some constructive advice or assistance.
  • You have a generous quality to your nature, but you must guard carefully against giving more than you receive or you will find yourself doing without because you have helped someone else.

It's almost Valentines

Every February 14, across the United States and in other places around the world, candy, flowers and gifts are exchanged between loved ones, all in the name of St. Valentine

The Valentine’s Day gift you choose for your loved one and how you decide to spend the day says a lot about the quality of your relationship, so give something that has real meaning to you. Gifts from the heart don’t have to be expensive. Since the traditional gifts of flowers or chocolates don’t last forever, here are ten creative ways to express your love.
  • Create your own Valentine’s Day card. Compose a poem or an expression of love that expresses your personality.
  • Create a "recollection collection" scrapbook filled with favorite photographs, love letters, keepsakes from special occasions, and cherished mementos.
  • Make a CD of your favorite songs as a couple including love songs that you both enjoy listening to. Buy some romantic CDs, classic videos or DVDs and wrap them all together with red ribbon.
  • Jewelry is always a favorite. For the woman in your life, buy a heart-shaped locket and put a picture of yourself in it. Personalize the locket with your loved one’s initials so she’ll have something to wear that’s hers alone. Package it in a heart-shaped box or tied to fresh flowers. For your man, a good choice is the classic sterling silver ID bracelet or cuff links with his name or initials custom-engraved.
  • Give silk or glass flowers, which will last forever. If your beloved has a green thumb, give aflowering plant to put in the garden to enjoy year after year.
  • Prepare your loved one’s favorite dinner and serve it on a romantically set table and dine by candlelight on Valentine’s Day. For the sweetheart with a sweet tooth, make a decadent dessert such as a chocolate fondue with melted chocolate mixed with a touch of heavy cream, and serve it with fruit or cookies.
  • Give the man in your life a personalized gift for his favorite hobby such as personalized golf or tennis balls that say, “I love you,” “You’re a hit!” or “Be mine,” or a monogrammed humidor for cigars.
  • The gift of togetherness is precious, given today’s busy lifestyles. Plan a romantic, surpriseweekend travel getaway. Take lessons together to share in each other’s interests like dancing, cooking or sailing. Hire a personal trainer to inspire you to exercise together, or visit a spatogether. Spend a night out at the theater and have dinner at a quiet and romantic candlelit restaurant.
  • If you plan to propose on Valentine’s Day, hide the engagement ring in a box of candy or at the bottom of a heart-shaped flute filled with champagne. Buy a pair of monogrammed champagne flutes and make a toast with your favorite bubbly.
  • If you want to propose at home, sprinkle rose petals around the house. Place heart-shaped candles around your home to create the right mood. Then, enjoy a quiet, romantic evening. Create a banner that says, “Will you marry me?” and hang it outside her home.
